http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/20/adrienne-salinas-missing-arizona_n_3471678.htmlWhen Adrienne Salinas failed to call her dad on Father's Day, her family knew something was wrong.
Three days later, authorities in Tempe, Az., announced a search for the 19-year-old student, last seen early in the morning of June 15, before leaving to visit her boyfriend in Scottsdale.
Police say that Salinas "was involved in a single vehicle accident at about 3:44 AM." Both of her vehicle's front tires were flattened.
“She was upset and wanted to go talk to her boyfriend about it," her roommate, Shaney Duggan, told MyFoxPhoenix. "Along the way there she hit a curb, her tires popped."
Salinas called a cab and asked the driver to meet her at a nearby gas station, but she never showed, investigators told CBS5.
According to the police: "Adrienne’s vehicle was located the following day, approximately one block away from her apartment and was locked and did not appear to have any signs of any foul play involved."
Officials searched Tempe Town Lake for the missing woman, though they acknowledged there are no specific leads to suggest that her body is in the water, ABC 15 reports. The station also said Salinas left her apartment after a night of drinking.
Salinas is described as a Hispanic female, 5-feet 6-inches tall, 110 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of the sun on her neck near her left ear.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Tempe Police at (480) 966-6211 or (480) 350-8311.
